The unique combination of skills that form the basis of the Professional Training in Holistic counseling and Psychotherapy have arisen from many years of searching, studying and applying holistic approaches to these very issues by the Metavision Institute's founder Dr Christina Nielsen (Chinese Medicine). Our academic structure ensures the greatest quality education. The Governance Board is responsible for the Institute as an educational provider and oversees all business decisions. The Metavision courses have developed from the initiative of Christina Nielsen, arising from her clinical experience and ongoing observe over the previous 30 years. The term means looking above, under and around, in fact broadly and holistically. The Mission of the Metavision Institute is to enhance human potential through inquiry and practice of spirituality, soul intent and body awareness within a context of evolutionary consciousness. The Metavision Model is a way of healing that focuses on the complexity of the living human being in a process of becoming. The process changes both facilitator and participant, and can be applied from organizational to individual situations. This points to an Organizing Principal that has had many names from all cultures throughout time. Training in focus, awareness and self awareness enhances perception of patterns and the potential for healing. The Academic Board comprises academic staff from other higher education institutions, representatives from industry and professional associations, members of the Institute’s academic staff and representatives of the alumni. The Academic Board delegates responsibility to the Teaching and Learning Committee for monitoring and reporting on quality assurance processes for teaching and learning within the Institute in order to ensure that day today academic operations meet quality educational standards. She has worked for over 30 years to synthesize these paradigms eventually finding a way of integrating health, psychological insights and personal and professional development in a unique holistic approach that meets the needs of a rapidly temporary world. Christina’s wide ranging skills and experience have been drawn upon to prosper the fresh model for professional and personal development. Christina has supervised different professionals both individually and in groups, including allied health professionals, teachers, doctors, complimentary therapists and managers for over 20 years. Such disturbances have been the focus of his professional practice: psychotherapy, teaching, and research. Later studies in Holistic counseling and Psychotherapy further developed her interest in therapeutic work and she now operates a private therapy practice, as well as her labor as a Senior Audiologist. She also taught eurythmy in schools in the UK and in medically based training and workshops busy out of and representing the Anthroposophical approach to medicine. A change specialist, holistic psychotherapist and group facilitator, Sarah brings over 13 years experience and a aware creativity to every endeavor. Previously Sarah has provided consultancy and worked on concise term projects including program design, development, transition management and group facilitation and training in both the UK and Australia. Carolyn practices her belief in the potential for personal transformation through her labor as a Holistic counselor and Psychotherapist. Building on her premature qualifications in Psychology this passion is informed by studies in Anthroposophy, Process Oriented Psychology and a range of holistic approaches to health and healthy being. It is only through using a holistic approach that the problems can begin to be addressed, not only in mental health but in many aspects of society, culture and the environment. Claire has a background in counseling and many years of teaching Qualitative Research to counseling and Psychology students. She has developed a passion for the value of practitioner research towards maintaining and developing ongoing learning.
