The Disability Trust’s Sport and Pleasure programs bear opportunities for over 750 children, teenagers and adults with an intellectual, physical ardor sensory disability to participate in a variety of sporting and recreational activities. Since then The Trust has established a fully funded respite house for people with a disability and received recurrent funding for respite services and vacation and behind school protection for children with disabilities. Offices in Mittagong have grown accordingly and a new day program and respite services have also become operational in Goulburn. The Disability Believe Board members have a wide range of professional skills and experience, as healthy as experience in the disability sector. Through this period of sustained growth Margaret has perpetual remained committed to The Trust’s powerful community focus, delivering tall quality services within a framework of client rights and scrupulous decision making. She has over 10 years experience in the provision of respite services to people with disabilities and their families. She has extensive experience in service coordination and management and is committed to ensuring delivery of tall quality, efficient services. Ed has 20 years’ experience in the community services sector and has held direct operational, practice quality and management positions. Rhonda has worked in the disability sector for 27 years, the final 18 of which have been with The Disability Trust. Friends of The Disability Trust has been launched by local Illawarra businesses with the support of The Disability Trust Board to hoist much required funds for Illawarra’s most respectable and honorable charities, providing concern to over 300 clients in the Illawarra region. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to be involved with The Disability Trust and look forward to being portion of and helping out with their programs in the future.
